So your Reposit Box is offline and you’ve received a notification?
Ok. First, please check the vitals:
- Does your Reposit box have power? (HINT: look for the blue light. If your Reposit Box has no blue light proceed to STEP B)
- Got wifi? Check your internet connection. If you’ve changed your wifi provider or internet password recently, please proceed to STEP A.
- Don’t have wifi? Please proceed to STEP B.
STEP A: Let's get your Reposit Box reconnected to your internet
If you have changed your modem or its name and/or password, all you would need to do is to set up a hotspot connection on your mobile phone to connect it with your Reposit Box. Once the connection is established, please give our Reposit Support Team a call on 1800 392 938 (Monday to Friday between 9 am and 5 pm) and we will be able to reconnect the Reposit Box to your router. The details of how to do this are described below:
Set your Phone Name to: RepositInstall
- iPhone: Settings>General>About>Name OR
- Android: Settings>More(in wireless & networks)>Tethering & portable hotspot
Set your WiFi Password to: InstallerReset
- iPhone: Settings>Personal Hotspot OR
- Android: Settings>More(in wireless & networks)>Tethering & portable hotspot
Once the mobile hotspot is set up as per the above instructions, give us a call on 1800 392 928.
STEP B: Turn your Reposit box off and on
Have you tried turning it off and on again? No really, this may fix your problem. Give us a call on 1800 392 928 and we’ll take you through the process.
How do I know if my Reposit Box is back online?
- Open your Reposit App
- Tap the 'Activity' tab at the bottom of your screen.
- If the Reposit Box has access to the internet, you'll be able to see moving arrows and changing numbers on this screen.
